PART B: STUDENT ENROLLMENT TERMS

5. Registration and Acceptance
5.1. Enrollment in a programme constitutes a binding agreement between the Student and the Academy for Organisational Change.
5.2. Admission is subject to meeting the specific academic criteria for the chosen qualification. We reserve the right to verify all documentation submitted.
5.3. The contract is concluded when we send you a formal Letter of Acceptance or Registration Confirmation.
6. Fees and Payment
6.1. Liability: By registering, you accept full liability for the total course fees, regardless of whether your studies are sponsored by an employer or third party.
6.2. Payment Terms: Fees must be paid in accordance with the payment schedule selected at registration.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy (CPA Compliant)
We align our cancellation policy with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
7.1. Cooling-Off Period:
You are entitled to cancel your registration within 7 (seven) days of the date of registration without penalty, provided you have not yet accessed the course material or attended any classes. A full refund will be processed.
7.2. Cancellation After Cooling-Off Period:
If you cancel after the 7-day period, a reasonable cancellation penalty will apply to cover our administrative costs and loss of seat availability. The penalty scale is as follows:

8. Academic Integrity and Conduct
8.1. Students are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism, cheating, and collusion are strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, which may include expulsion.
8.2. Students must adhere to the Student Code of Conduct and Assessment Policy, which are available on the LMS.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. While we strive to provide high-quality education, we do not guarantee specific career outcomes or employment upon completion of a qualification.
9.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Academy for Organisational Change shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the services or your studies.
9.3. Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure is due to causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., load shedding, pandemics, strikes, or natural disasters). In such cases, we reserve the right to transition to online delivery or reschedule activities.

11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising herefrom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
